Mum’s getting into Twitter… (Oh no I’m not. Oh, yes you are…)

Some of you are following Mum’s journey into Twitter (@GillsMum). Indeed, some of you are following her. It will be fun if, before long, Granny has more followers than some of her grandchildren… 😉

It is great to see people engaging with Mum and learning a surprising amount about her enigmatic personality through the odd tweets, building on her popular ‘random thoughts’ blogs…

And so, I repeat. My Mum is NOT up for adoption.
Or is she?

So our love – hate relationship continues. I love Twitter.
Mum pretends to hate it…

And the Twitter community is gently trying to encourage her… which is lovely…

And even giving her the odd #FF (“A what??”)

The sunshine at the weekend put everyone in a good mood and we were enjoying a favourite local place:

It was lovely to see more and more people engaging with Mum and following her back.
So I asked her if she’d like to follow some more people… and got rather short shrift:

And. Abruptly. Our mini tweetathon was over.
